Chromate conversion coating (yellow / black / dark green) and unichrome plating (silver) is used to provide anticorrosion to metal surfaces.

Since it is treated with a phosphate film, there is almost no dimensional change in the surface layer.

This process is incorporated as a general surface treatment for machined steel products and as reprocessing for parts that were conventionally chromated such as nuts, bolts, clips, engine stays, winding springs and other parts that were removed when the engine was disassembled. This will greatly improve the level of satisfaction when the build is complete.

It is also very effective in the restoration of old cars.
